‘We get the usual number of paid offs in Japanese companies, and then it gets incremented by 1 every year. They're given every January.’
Good compensation and bonus and benefits
Internship at Rakuten gave benefits, the options were in the office such as free lunch or snacks and or drinks for the end of the weekday
They give bi-yearly increment and bi-yearly bonus.
The best thing about the benefits is the free Japanese classes and Yoga classes. They are actually pretty open for suggestions and the HR team is always trying to make the best out of their budget allocation and are always looking for ways to please their employees.
Not much medical benefits, basic health insurance offered only. Stocked fridge and pantry meant a lot of snacks... lunch / breakfast / dinner definitely NOT provided Japanese classes were paid for by the company
Not good enough package to retain talent.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
