Anyone has been rejected because of background verification process. What could be the possible scenarios for rejection.

Hi guys, Urgent - please reply. I left Deloitte after 7 months without any offer.Prior to this, I worked in PwC for 1.5 yr & Genpact for 6 months. Now in job search, HR isn't shortlisting me due to early exit in 2 Co's.As Genpact exp isn’t relevant to my current domain, I’m thinking of removing it from my resume. Will this create issues during BGV? Do Company get access to past employment if not mentioned in resume?Please let me know or suggest any way out to resolve this issue. Thankyou
