Best protein powder that isn’t a) filled with awful contaminants b) indigestible?
I’m burnt out from work and personal life. Everything these past few months has been rough. We were about to buy a house after years of shopping when my husband lost his job. He’s been working his butt off to make money since and I’m very proud of him. We’ve otherwise had a lot of personal/family issues. Honestly feels like the world is ending some days and we cannot afford anything extra these days. I just don’t understand. How do people work through these rough times?
How do you manage your meals for the week? I signed up for one of those premium, pre-made healthy meal delivery services. The food is honestly fantastic and saves me hours of cooking, but it’s so expensive. It is an incredible luxury for a busy professional, but the price tag is making me wonder if I should just swallow my pride and go back to Sunday batch-cooking.
What is your favorite commuter-friendly gym bag that actually keeps your corporate life and fitness life cleanly separated? I am trying so hard to eliminate the "I'm too tired once I get home" excuse by planning my workouts straight from the office. However, my gym bag is currently a nightmare, crammed with a laptop, a change of dress shoes, resistance bands. I look like I'm moving into my cubicle permanently every time I walk through the lobby in the morning.
How do you feel about getting standing/walking/hydrating reminders? My watch is programmed to vibrate every hour to remind me to stand up and move, which is a great concept in theory. In practice, it always seems to go off exactly three minutes into a meeting. Yesterday, I got so annoyed with the persistent buzzing telling me to "time to move!" that I just took the watch off and threw it in my desk drawer.
I have a 2years experience warehouse incharge
I like Orgain Sport
Orgain protein powder FTW!
I swear by Vega Protein (vegan). I have a highly sensitive stomach and haven’t had any issues. Chocolate tastes great & is non-chalky!
Gainful. They customize the content of your protein based on your needs and ship small batches every 3 weeks or so. It also comes unflavored with flavor packs that you can add as needed.
Promix! Super clean & you can trace where each batch is derived from. Just ordered my 2nd bag
Came to comment Promix! I’m allergic to artificial sweeteners and vegan and this works for me
I like isopure. It’s more or less just protein and some artificial sweeteners. 110 cal/25g protein
I like The brand “clean simple eats” although it does have “natural flavors” in its ingredient list but all other ingredients are decent.
Twenty two nutrition!
Levels grass fed whey protein
Gold Standard or BPN?
I like using vega protein since it's plant based. The bottled shakes are pretty good for on the go if you don't like the powder mixes.
Huel
I use huel black edition more to help me hit my macros each day but agree it’s great
Ancient nutrition multi collagen, especially good for women
Any protein bar recommendations?
Kirkland (Costco) are a great Quest alternative!
Nature’s Bounty
Dymatize ISO100
Naked Nutrition. Chocolate whey protein powder has three ingredients: whey, organic coconut sugar, and organic cacao powder
