Greetings , People with career gaps exceeding one year, how did you manage to get back into IT , please share your experiences to help me in this phase. (4+ yoe) Highly demotivated. Not getting recruiter visibility, asked friends and ex colleagues for referrals , no avail. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thankyou.
2.8 LPA → 27 LPA. Just signed my first switch. 5 years ago, I joined HCLTech as a Manual Tester. Since then, my journey took me through Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and eventually GenAI. Once I got into GenAI, I started interviewing seriously. There were rejections, lessons, and plenty of learning along the way. Thanks to everyone who trusted me with opportunities beyond testing. A lot of late nights, self-doubt, learning, and growth. Worth it.
I know many experienced ppl in lti who had been on bench for 8-9! Months,nothing happqened

TCS if you're looking for job stability. Lti has 90 days of bench period and incase if you don't get any project you'll be asked to move out. Having said that if you're planning to stay for shorter period try LTI since TCS doesn't encourage anyone to rejoin back. And 4 lakhs is huge difference too.
They asked me to stay on bench for 6 months with no pay when I wanted to pick a tech project
Regarding move out after 90 days,had it happened of late (say in past 3,4 years) ?
It didn't happen to me but I heard it from others.
LTI, strictly due to the 4 lakhs difference.
Go for LTI more growth and is expanding and doing really well now
I think TCS is better equipped and better in terms of job stability and growth.
Go for LTI if you're looking learning and growth. As said, it always depends on your luck...which project you get.
