2.8 LPA → 27 LPA. Just signed my first switch. 5 years ago, I joined HCLTech as a Manual Tester. Since then, my journey took me through Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and eventually GenAI. Once I got into GenAI, I started interviewing seriously. There were rejections, lessons, and plenty of learning along the way. Thanks to everyone who trusted me with opportunities beyond testing. A lot of late nights, self-doubt, learning, and growth. Worth it.
It's been 7 months since I started my corporate journey after college, and honestly, I don't feel this is the life I want. The pressure, anxiety, and fear every day have been exhausting. I keep waiting for weekends just to feel relief. More than continuing, I genuinely feel like quitting and focusing on the career path I was actually interested in. Would appreciate guidance from experienced people who went through a similar phase. How did you handle it, and what helped you decide?
Isn’t intel one of those?
Intel has a mixed crowd. Depends on the group and product like you work for. The products doing well in industry guarantees hikes and job security but comes with a downside of hectic schedules
Maxlinear Bangalore used to have better work life balance. Now I doubt as most of the old management has left.
Semiconductor people even do any work 😂?
It's the people in the west doing R&D , you guys in India don't do shit.
Heard Nvidia is good in terms of work life balance.
