Pros
-Personable, outgoing people culture -Leadership takes time to be involved with junior level positions -They reach you so much about the business unit you are placed in despite your lack of... experience in the field before the job. Don’t worry about not having majored in finance for example. A lot of people come from liberal arts backgrounds that don’t seem relevant to the current job purpose -Kind of unlimited PTO: they usually account for employees to take 15-20 days off but it’s super simple to ask for time off -Promotion usually within a year
Cons
-If you’re working in the financial services business unit, you will be working a lot! Be prepared to learn a lot of GLG specific things/ways to do your job. -You may burn out if you don’t... communicate to your manager or leadership about your workload.
Pros
- the culture of this company is some of the best I've seen, it's very team-oriented and you have the opportunity to get to know your colleagues on a personal level- really helpful in fostering open... communication in across all levels and getting rid of that sense of hierarchy - perfect balance of hard work and fun- everyone here is extremely motivated and they produce world-class work, teams still manage to keep a collaborative environment without toxic competition - the senior executive team has a whatever-it-takes mentality -they are generally open to providing financial support to any initiative that they know will make people's jobs easier & can create true value -training programs are incredibly structured, and they make sure you have all the resources & support you need to excel
Cons
- no immediate cons, I just wish more people were aware & took a chance at this amazing high-growth company - I know I did, and I realize every passing day more & more that this was one of... the best decisions I've ever made for myself & my career.
