Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Microsoft full-time

Pros

work life balance, grow fast, promotion fast

Cons

some times pay not good

Current Intern - Intern

I have been working at Amazon for less than a year

Pros

Big fan of the leadership principles - they do what they preach. A high-performing team that is nurturing and will actively seek opportunities to give me learning and visibility. Certifications are... claimable and that's great for skills advancement. Very clear career progressions too.

Cons

Work-life balance is something that they are working on - but someone with ownership is unlikely to switch off and truly embrace work-life balance. Not an environment for everyone - suits ambitious... people more

Advice to Management

Top management are typically from US and not much diversity
