Pros
Good Pay, Remote, flexible hours
Cons
Run by Venture Capital company that is not interested in software development growth or even product quality, but mostly in milking a shrinking pool of clients for support fees until software sales... disappear.
Pros
- Pay can be negotiable if you come in with experience - Remote work is an option, though the company is moving away from it - No micromanagement, Fridays are low key most weeks - A good amount of... PTO, mental health days, and other PTO
Cons
- Cutthroat, the other reviews are not lying. A players are what Medix wants, and they will toss anyone who's below a B level producer, despite them doing everything right. Working with... candidates/client is difficult. Sometimes things don't work out. -It's all about appearances, you have to present a certain way to leadership for them to keep you long term. - You're always looking over your shoulder, there are always layoffs, teammates being fired, and they sweep it under the rug, without giving any reassurance to the team. - LOTS of pressure to produce, no wiggle room, it's black and white here. - Overall general uncertainty if you or your division is not producing, lots of aspects you will not have much control over
