I have been working at Base4 full-time for more than a year
The pro is definitely the team, which is a bunch of young, extremely friendly, international and dynamic people. It is an exciting place to work, with interesting projects progressing at a nice pace.
The CEO. Although he has improved since the first reviews in 2015, this guy still behaves like a 4 year old. That goes from slightly annoying everyday behaviour, like riding a scooter in the office,... keeping his cycling gear on all day and occasionally being a bit abrupt to some people, to more serious stuff. He would decide one day that we should work on a project that is going to make millions and drop it 2 months later just at the time when it is just about to work. He would occasionnaly sack people for no reason (or because he does not like them?) or give a project to someone because he likes him, not because he is the most qualified. Last bit, I am slightly suspicious that men are considered better, though there is no obvious anti-women behaviour. It just seems that men get promoted a bit more than women: the leading team is all men. Members of the board (5), CEO, COO, project managers (3).... maybe it is just bad luck?
