due to guidance from top management need of cut for bonuses with no reason, sometimes it's too hard to do anything due to long approval processes,

Does Credit Suisse offer bonus pay?

Pros

They will employ anyone. literally, anyone. if you are struggling elsewhere, this is the place to go.

Cons

Managers treat staff without respect. The board go and lose billions of dollars to people like greensill and archegos and do not take any responsibility until major news outlets publish something critical. They will pounce on any member of staff for any small misdemeanor (accidentally being copied on a personal email) and dock pay. There is no oversight of bonuses, so the 'golden boys' and 'golden girls' get all the pay, even if performance is weak, at the expense of all other team members. there is no accountability at this place. Many many nice words and charts. Institutionally rotten.

Advice to Management

So much is so wrong. Best to sell the business to another bank.

What are pay raises like at Credit Suisse?

Pros

Lower-level employees are hard-working and do everything they can every day to ensure things are moving well

Cons

Upper Management is failing (Managing Dir up) lower-level employees. Specifically, in Global Markets. Employees are leaving the firm because their basic requirements such as pay raise or bonus are not met. They're getting zero in the masses. High turnover and difficulty keeping talent and tenured staff

Advice to Management

Basic raises and bonuses shouldn't even be a problem, but it is a huge problem at CS.
