How is the work/life balance at FedEx?

Pros

Great overall benefits, work life balance is there if managed effectively, vacation time is honored and expected to be used, great people who are experts at what they do. In sales, being able to work with the numerous different companies and businesses that you do in a wide spectrum of industries is extremely interesting and educating.

Cons

Huge company (500,000+ employees), sometimes getting the help you need to provide a solution is hard to come by. Capital intensive industry, pay/bonuses could be higher elsewhere.

Pros

Paid weekly, stable company. Not much else.

Cons

A lot of forced overtime, poor communication from upper management, pay, lack of advancement opportunities

Does FedEx reimburse for mileage?

Pros

Decent benefits can do minimal work and get paid

Cons

Terrible management, don’t even try working hard there. The bad employees don’t get pressure while the good employees pick up all the slack for nothing. There’s no point in going the extra mile because they’ll only give you more work. Only close friends of management seem to get promotions and recognition.. terrible work culture, they expect you to bleed purple and work crazy overtime, this is basically another dead end job but it pays the bills...
