Pros
Halogen gives a lot of opportunities to their interns. They allowed us to try projects within different departments, take on big projects on our own. It's a great place to fail, pick up skills and grow -professionally & on a personal level. There's also a pretty flat culture, everyone's very approachable and as an intern I was able to meet at the staff 1:1 to grow even further.
Cons
Halogen functions on a pretty lean staff team -meaning that everyone is constantly really busy and during peak periods the stress levels can be pretty high. So for an individual, it is important to learn self-care, if not burn out is very common.

Pros
There are plenty of opportunities to work on various projects! As long as you can handle the load, you can ask if there are projects that may need additional help. There are regular check-ins with supervisors to help take stock of your growth during your time there.
Cons
The learning curve at the start can be pretty steep but that's a growth opportunity for anyone joining.
