Fairly generous pay for retail management. Good structure in tasks and jobs gives routine, even in a fast-moving environment. Good routes and frequent opportunities for internal promotions. I've worked there for many years, and as a whole have had very good experiences with staff/workplace culture compared to other workplaces.

Although pay is good, it is 44hrs a week, which is essentially a whole extra day compared to 37.5hr weeks many other work places offer. There have been very severe staffing cut-backs over the past 12 months which has seriously increased demand on all staff and management, and has made me reconsider continuing at this company.

Many people work there, Which can be a problem for the FLT drivers and Reach truck drivers.

The pay was decent and easy to get a job there.

You’ll be given a shift, don’t ever expect to finish at the correct time. If those jobs aren’t completed they’ll have you staying hours over until they are. The place is severely understaffed meaning you have no time for yourself as you’re covering other people’s jobs constantly and you are expected to give them that overtime despite not agreeing or wanting it.
