- Welfare benefits are decent - Salary are on par with market

- Poor management style. Not open to new ideas and management always think they are right. - Uncomfortable working environment and culture because of condescending attitude and remarks - Inefficient system - Employees do not align with company values

Are employees at Marshall Cavendish Int generally happy and/or satisfied?
Pros
Some people are nice and are trying their best to do their jobs well. Pay is alright. Work life balance can be decent.
Cons
Too much politics. Company is not doing well and instead of coming together, people start blaming each other. Finger-pointing is done by the management, which then encourages the behavior all the way down. So many people leaving the company because the politics is too much. So many ex-colleagues whose mental health was affected because of the toxicity and who are doing so much better after leaving. If you're looking for a good company with positive staff who are good at what they do and don't need to compensate with toxicity, this is NOT the company for you.
Advice to Management
Fix yourselves. You are terrible leaders who proliferate a terrible culture. If you don't think you're the problem, that really only shows you have a lack of awareness. Go for a leadership course or something and really truly understand how to inspire and rally people instead of blaming and alienating the ones trying to follow you. How long do you think you can go blaming others for the effects of your ineffectiveness?
