Provide free courses, pay for your first year training, they have a mentor and buddy system so you have some support and can learn as you go, it's fun to work with the kids, a variety of portfolios. Paid medical leave is given however there are clauses so be aware.
Cons
Very competitive environment depending on which school go to. May take some years to get promoted to higher scale salary if don't perform during your first few years. If you want to sign up, make sure to read the instruction manual to know your rights. At times even the bosses don't know and will just reject your request or give you incorrect information.

Pros
School holidays Gov benefits like leave/ payouts Meaningful job
Cons
Redtape A lot of projects that are not worth the time - can be beneficial but more like for show. Normal gov job = cannot air grievances. Incompetent people can stay on forever but can be a pro if you are the incompetent one. 24h just like anyone else but expected to take on too many roles and responsibilities - emotional as well, not just mental and cognitive. Like instead of focusing on teaching, maybe one would need to also do publicity work, publication, sch events. So many forms and documents and report to do. Software / IT systems often lag/ fail when the entire country needs to use for admin. Must do things like overnight camps and whatever.
Advice to Management
Care for the teachers more and allow us to give anonymous feedback. All the supposed channels for feedback are not truly confidential.
