What kind of career opportunities exist at Mu Sigma?

Pros

As a Junior Associate, you gain a lot of personal growth. I had the opportunity to live and work in another country (by far the most valuable part of my time with the company) and I received recognition as I was given large responsibility over my specific client and work stream - however, this is a craps shoot as you basically have no say in where you end up after the program ends.

Cons

There is high attrition and fragmentation within the company. Leadership does not seem to understand how a true consulting firm works as Mu Sigma often over promises and under delivers. Additionally, there is a huge income disparity between the US employees and India employees, leading to a lot of discomfort.

Does Mu Sigma have any sort of mentoring programme?

Pros

Great learning opportunities and exposure

Cons

No work life balance. Resourcing is a severe concern. Operations are really stressed because of high attrition rate. Poor leadership. Severely underpaid and overworked employees.

Advice to Management

Try to retain smart people and don't pressurise employees to take up managerial roles after three years.
