Something you don’t appreciate until you don’t have it is the culture. Redbox has an employee first culture and the tone for that is set by the CEO who stands by his word even when pressed to make difficult decisions to ensure the employees who have contributed get what they deserve.

Cons

The dark cloud hanging over the life span of physical media requires strategic pivots that can be challenging to adapt to and limit future potential advancement in addition to being simply difficult to handle mentally. Such headwinds mean you have to have thick skin and bulldog persistence to work at Redbox.

working outside in all weather conditions no exceptions, low pay for a somewhat technical, very detail oriented job

Its a good starting point job to get into repairing kiosks and basic vending. Your travel isn't crazy,, you get a company car and its low stress. Pretty good benefits.

Cons

Rotating weekends are mandatory, the pay for the region isn't great and raises are very small. There is little chance for advancement.
