Great salary, good opportunity for progression, can learn about the industry with some great colleagues
Cons
Very strict with breaks, not flexible with holiday requests, can be a bad atmosphere due to the way employees are spoken to at times, like children basically
Good salary and benefits compared to many other companies in Malta. Colleagues in operational teams are generally hardworking and supportive.
Cons
Promotion decisions often feel arbitrary and not based on merit, experience or technical ability. Micromanagement is common and experienced staff have little autonomy despite their knowledge. Over time this creates frustration because performance and expertise do not seem to be the main factors for career progression.
General level of development talent is high.
Decent holiday allowance.
Initial onboarding/training is excellent.
Cons
Salaries are way behind general dev salaries elsewhere.
Management can be sloppy and is full of cliques.
"Hybrid working" but office attendance is clearly preferred and pushed heavily.
High staff turnover. Most of the decent devs leave after a year or two, likely related to culture and salary lagging behind.
