I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Accenture (London, England) in May 2013
Interview
The interview process itself was very simple and straight forward. After submitting online application, a HR will conduct a telephone interview and if successful it is followed by two 1-hour interview with HR and senior technical manager.
Telephone interview was simple with most of the questions centered about the company, primarily like what Accenture does, who are their competitors etc. They also ask what was the toughest decision you have taken in the last 1 year and about why u have chose your university and degree.
HR interview was again a repetition of the telephone interview followed by few general competency based question. Its better to write a cover letter and address it to the person who is responsible for recruiting that position. They notice all these things to see how much u know about the company.
Skills based interview was technical round, but I dint get any technical questions except few basic oops concepts and SDLC and testing types. Other than that everything was about what type of modules and projects i did in postgraduate and undergraduate.
I would iterate a point that they are looking for people who understands the company and business well and basically they look for PEOPLE with the feeling to work for Accenture

Interview was nice but it was much technical heavy and the interviewer had asked both the technical and HR related questions and also some general knowledge and current affairs questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your college projects and what is your and other team members role in the project
After assessment, Interview is Initial screening only, nothing technical. Consists of common questions so you should practice. I think most candidates get the job. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others.
Had long aptitude rounds followed by 3 coding questions. All were pretty easy. Followed by a 10 minute interview held online, not technical, just asked personal questions. The coding questions had web design (HTML & CSS), basic DSA (python, C# or java)
