I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Achievement First (Brooklyn, NY) in Feb 2020
Interview
Once you apply, you would first have a phone interview with one of their talent recruiters. After the interview, if the recruiter thinks you would be a good fit for the final interview they will go over scheduling you for the final interview. Once you schedule your final interview that recruiter will then e-connect you to another process who will guide you through the final interview process and who will also be with you on the final interview day. This particular person would not only go through with you what the final interview day will look like but he/she will also help you organize and go over your demo lesson, that will be required of you to do during the final interview process. Besides presenting a demo lesson to an actual class of student you will be also provided with a tour of the school and able to observe multiple classrooms within the schools, where you will also be able to record notes on as well. Overall, the interview process is very much in depth, but the staff provides you with immense support and guidance.

Interview
The process was really intense. Several meetings, some remote and a day long process in-person in addition to a model lesson with live coaching. I interviewed with several school and org leaders simultaneously and was asked to participate in role plays and simulations. I disagreed with the approach/advice of some of the school and org leaders which was good for me to learn during that point as job interviews are about overall compatibility.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were a TON of questions. I don't remember any outside of the simulation/role plays.

Interview
The interview process was very informative, enlightening, and a teachable experience. The interviewers made me feel warm & welcomed while holding a high bar for what they expected from the interviewee.
