      Reset Team Interview

      6 Feb 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions in Jan 2014

      Interview

First was my phone interview which went fine. Second was my phone interview / scheduling of a face to face interview. My face to face interview was the most awkward moment of my life almost. The person told me way too much personal information about theirselves. I'm talking information just shy of STD test results. I couldn't believe the unprofessional behavior of a supervisor. In my whole life I've never known so much about a stranger & definitely not a supervisor. After the interview I did all my paperwork & receive an email stating that my driving record could adversely effect my job offer. I know I have some higher points because 4 year ago I had gotten a speeding ticket which I couldn't afford to pay the excessive out of state charge so I had to let my license be pulled. I was pulled over for speeding once 2 years ago & falsely charged with speeding a second time 6 months later or so but since you can't bring a ticket before a jury of peers I had no way to fight it. I really didn't believe the points would be that high seeing that a judge didn't take my license away. Absolutely my fault. I don't deny it & I don't know anyone who wouldn't have done the same thing in my situation to be able to survive. Apparently that makes me a horrible person & a horrible employee. They don't pay for anyones drive so it is like any other job that you drive to. Also, even if you don't drive you cannot get a position with them so they obviously judge you based on your driving record points. After that email saying it "could" adversely effect my employment with them I receive another email stating that I needed to complete some paperwork that I had already completed so I replied asking about it. Then i received a not exactly nice reply back saying that that isn't the problem & if I read the other email I would see why we can't go forward. I read it. I am not illiterate. I know the difference in could & did. It's another example of the unprofessional behavior this company displays. The professional thing to do would've been to apologize for sending the wrong automatic email & say that the following email will explain it & then send the appropriate letter, not make me feel like an illiterate fool.
