I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate in Nov 2012
Interview
Process started off with simple screening call. Once you pass that stage you're invited to the Allstate campus for an all day event. There's a presentation, the feed you, give you a tour of the home office, then break people down into pairs for the interview.
Very basic questions: Tell me something your most proud off, tell me about a time where you struggled, why Allstate.
Nothing to challenging, just know your Resume and go over the basic interview questions.
It was all total resume based interview. They dig deep into each of the projects and how it will help in the real world to the customers. And also why this specific tech stack was used.
Interview process is BDI style interview. Please look up how to perform a BDI interview for the best success. Expect questions like, tell me about a time you performed your job successfully and how did you gauge success or a measurable improvement.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate in Sept 2023
Interview
Ghosted! The process began with a phone screening, which went well. A week later, I had a second interview with the Product Manager VP which lasted 2-hours, followed by a third round of interviews with three separate peers (in compliance, actuary, and project management VP roles) one week after the VP interview. These interviews allowed for a comprehensive assessment of my skills and fit for the role. However, a notable issue has been the lack of communication post-interview. Despite my proactive efforts in sending follow-up emails once a week after each interview, A month later only by checking the company site was my application status updated to "Denied". No decency to again even send an automated denial email. The most unprofessional company i've ever interviewed with. I'd warn anyone looking to apply with them to not even waste their time. While I understand that the hiring process can sometimes take time, it's essential for a company to maintain communication with candidates, keeping them informed about their status and the progress of their application.
