I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Northbrook, IL) in Feb 2011
Interview
After I applied I was contacted through email saying they would like to schedule a phone interview.
Phone interview consisted of all behavioral/situational questions as well as some questions about myself that they could not get from my resume to get to know me and some questions about where I see myself in the future. The questions were mostly standard questions that you would expect for behavioral interview questions but they also tailored the questions to pertain to me by what I put on my resume. They asked specific questions (at least 2) from each section of my resume.
The interview actually ended up lasting about 50 min-1 hour and was done by two people on speaker phone.
As I recall it took about 2 weeks for me to hear back from them when they scheduled an in person interview. It was at their headquarters in Northbrook, IL. I technically had three interviews there on site. The first one was with someone in another department called the UXA in which we would be working closely with. The second interview was with two Business Analysts who already work for Allstate. They had asked me to bring in some of my sample course work (use case, use case model, process flow diagrams etc.) So the interview with them was basically explaining all of my diagrams and them asking me questions about it. The third part of the interview was an "informal" chat with the BA team manager. Basically this chat was a personality test in my opinion to see if I would be a good fit to work with a team.
I was contacted 2 weeks later and offered the position. I have not yet accepted the offer but I will probably end up taking it.
Overall, the interview process for myself wasn't too difficult but that is because I PREPARED for it. If you go into it blind it will be a lot more difficult.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Allstate in Aug 2022
Interview
Phone screen was quick and seemed pointless. Technical interview was two analysis questions where you are given an opportunity to show your knowledge. After the technical interview there is also a final phone screening with a senior leader where they are more interested in your goals

Please analyze this data sheet and tell me what you can infer from the data? *Data was related to insurance claims
Basic straight forward interview with canned questions. Had previous experience with the company and role so there wasn't much they asked me regarding the position. But regardless, they decided to go in a different direction with the position.

Interview
Process is taking too long and getting tons of emails from different recruiters for the same position, schedule the time and continue to get emails regarding the same interview. I got emails and texts from the same recruiter even though I already scheduled an interview
