      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2022

      Interview

Started with a phone call about how willing you are to relocate. Then a video call with HR representative, when you pass you have to contact certain employees within the company to get an idea about the position, then move on to the final panel interview.

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Providence, RI) in Apr 2016

      Interview

I met with Amica at a job fair at my university in April. I connected with the woman at the booth and she invited me to an interview on the spot for the next day. She told me to look up the company and explained that that was very important. She asked me typical customer service related questions in addition to what I know about the company. She then invited me to come to Rhode Island for that interview. I flew by myself and they paid for me to stay the night at a hotel nearby. I was to report at 9:45 am, I believe so typical punctual protocol, I wanted to leave for the place 30 minutes early. The shuttles only offered 9 am and 9:30 so I figured I'd go at 9 because I wouldn't want to walk in right at 9:45. Well, I'm from a huge city and a huge state and everything is like a 15-20 minute drive but turns out Amica was literally 5 minutes from the hotel so I was there WAY too early. I'm saying this so if you get to this point, take the shuttle closest to the time of the interview. Anyway, there was a guy who was also going to be doing the interviews with me and he was friendly and we had a good time throughout the day. You interview with these executives but mine were actually really easy going. Only one out of the three felt really intimidating but the guy I who was also doing interviews felt like another was intimidating so I guess to each their own. They ask, like all day, if you have any questions. So try not to use all your good questions on your first interview/first person you talk to. Spread them throughout the day so you seem interested/interesting. I rated the interview process as difficult only because it's lengthy in days and time (especially if you have to travel) and also doing interviews all morning/afternoon can be really taxing.

      Question 1

Customer service questions: Name a time when you dealt with a difficult customer. Your favorite customer service story. If you get to the final round they'll ask, in your own words what is an associate adjuster? What do you think of relocating?
