I applied online. I interviewed at Apexx Fintech Ltd (Pune) in Oct 2025
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and soon received an email stating that my resume was shortlisted. The HR team asked me to schedule a quick virtual call to check basic background details, and they provided flexible timing options. The HR discussion was smooth and professional—they mainly asked about my role, experience, and comfort with a 3-day work-from-office setup.
The next day, I received another email to schedule the first technical interview, again with flexible time slots. I attended the interview, and although I couldn’t perform well due to limited API automation knowledge, the discussion was highly informative and a positive learning experience.
For anyone preparing for this interview, focus strongly on API testing—both manual (Postman) and automation (RestAssured). If you’ve worked with Karate Framework, it will be a significant advantage and make the interview much easier to crack.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first task was an API automation scenario involving a simple POST call using RestAssured. They mainly wanted to assess whether you can automate basic API workflows effectively.
For APEXX interviews, API Automation is the top priority. Selenium/UI automation is secondary, so make sure you prepare thoroughly for API frameworks, request/response validation, authentication, and error handling.
Review the company’s LinkedIn profile and understand their products and solutions. This will help you answer behavioral and situational questions with more context and confidence.
