Interview
There were 2 Panels with 4 people each. Each of the panels were 15 minute. There were about 20 candidates doing the interview on a rotation schedule. While waiting, we networked and talked with other older Arconic employees.
Group panel of 5 people included multi-disciplines. Was complete over one day took about 4 hours . included a plant tour and ability to ask questions about plant and history and engineering needs.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Arconic (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2017
Interview
Very casual. They emailed me one day asking if I would be available to talk on the phone sometime in the next week. I said yes, and was under the impression it wasn't an actual interview, just a prescreening. After a very chill chat with one of their lead engineers, he said they would get back to me in a few weeks. I was very surprised to abruptly get an offer, without a second round of interviews
