The interview tried to identify and hire candidates who will perform well and
want to remain with their current employer. To achieve this purpose, the interview process would
assess the candidate’s technical skills and abilities, personal preferences, and behavior
patterns. The interview gathered sufficient information in each area from a candidate in order to form a hiring decision.
