Interview
Someone earlier said, "Felt like they didnt get to know me at all. Was just a list of drilling questions about specific experiences. I knew from that initial call that I wouldn't want to be there." I have to say, that was exactly my experience. The recruiter I spoke with scheduled me nearly two weeks out and did not do much to get to know me. It was a cold interview without a lot of conversation, it was simply someone reading from a doc and asking me questions. At some points, during responses, the recruiter didn't even type. It was blatantly obvious I was going to get a rejection email. We didn't even talk for the full 30 minutes, it went about 18 minutes before we called it off. It is disappointing since this is a company that should be mission driven, but it felt hollow. I wouldn't recommend anyone I know to apply here.

Interview
To start, I had an interview with an in-house recruiter at BetterUp and he told me he’d be my point of contact during the entire process. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and he didn’t reach out to check in at any point. The interview process is robust however this is normal these days therefore it’s expected.
My second meeting with the hiring manager mid-week she says we’ll be in touch the following week. I had two interviews scheduled for Friday but it’s as if she was unaware. My last interview was the most disappointing the person exhibited no warmth, or connection and seemed uninterested.
I’ve interviewed many candidates in my career and I believe you should always make a candidate feel welcome and make a human connection. I haven’t made a review on Glassdoor with the exception of giving praise to former employers. Since this company is about human development, I thought it was needed this time to write a review although I seldom do it.
BetterUp, please do Better.

Interview
The interview process consisted of an unnecessary over 5 rounds (I lost count) along with a presentation. That is practically an entire shift of work for free to then be turned down. Do better, BetterUp
