The process took 4 days. I interviewed at BioLegend (San Diego, CA)
Interview
4 interviews including HR, management and higher up's. Questions consisted of experience, technical questions, career plan and expectations for the job; generally standard questions. Not many theoretical scenario questions. Everyone was straight forward and friendly. Hard to gauge their reaction at times but overall good experience with fair questions.
Interviews were roughly ~30-45min per person.

Question 1
Describe a lab related problem you solved on your own.
Pretty straightforward, all virtual, multiple team members involved. Part of the process was recording answers to questions which is sort of stressful because you have time limits on it but it is totally doable
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BioLegend (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
There is first a phone interview to screen whether the applicant was still interested in the position. Get a call to meet up in the following week: meet with HR, Potential Supervisor, Potential Coworkers, Upper Management. HR asks general questions about fit, personality, and past experience. The potential supervisor is more interested in past experience and knowledge of the position that one is applying for. The coworkers fill in the gaps by accessing fit with the team dynamics and ability to deal with nuances with the job position. The upper management wants to know the long term availability of the candidate and judges your decision-making and knowledge through discussing past experience in much more detail. After all of this, generally Biolegend makes a decision within 2 weeks, sometimes even less.
