      Test Operations Manager Interview

      11 Jan 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Saint Louis, MO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Boeing (Saint Louis, MO) in Nov 2025

      Interview

The interview process seemed strange. I was told Boeing is trying something new. I did not receive an email notifying me I was going to get a call to schedule an interview or who would be calling. I got a call from the hiring manager to explain the job and schedule a time for the interview. The interview itself was explained that they use the STAR method, but rather than focus on that it should be treated like a dialogue. The interview was scheduled to last one hour, but we ran over by 30 minutes. After the interview, a couple weeks passed and I got a call from the hiring manager to offer me the job. I asked for a complete picture of benefits and compensation, a recruiter was supposed to supply but did not, and we scheduled a call back time after consideration. Negotiations on salary and sign-on bonus was one and done with a 30 minute delay to confer with a decision tree. Only after accepting the job offer did a recruiter or onboard specialist contact me. With a company the size of Boeing or 10% the size, I was surprised how they handled the interview and offer like a small business. After some time, I feel like I appreciate the new process, but was taken aback by it at first.
