Calyx Containers interview questions

The interview process was extremely long. So long, that I applied for, had several interviews for, and accepted another position in the meantime. While I received an offer, it was low and not competitive for the area. I appreciated the thought behind their questions and their thoroughness, however they definitely need to speed up and streamline their process if they want to keep candidates on the line.

The interview process took me about 2-3 months. I would have been fine with that if they hadn't made me take a "design test" as the 4th step in the interview process. The test was to design one of their product labels, which is essentially us designers working for free. Would they ask an accountant to prove they know math? or a sales rep to make a sale before hiring? I didn't get an offer, but it really turned me off to the company.
