I spoke with the recruiter for 30 mins who was very friendly and upfront about the company, role, compensation, and hiring/on-boarding process. Then I had 1 on 1 interview via zoom with the hiring manager who went deeper into the nuts and bolts of the position and dove into my resume and experience.

Tons of red flags and unprofessional to the core. At the last minute my interviewer was changed due to a personal issue. No email, no communication about this. I got on the zoom and was met with his manager. He tried to grill me with inappropriate questions as if to set the tone for a disproportionate power dynamic. When it came time to answer my questions he really struggled, not because they were difficult or poorly structured but as if they were above him or he's used to being the one asking the "hard" questions. I immediately withdrew my interest after the interview. Long story short, the company isn't doing well financially or culturally and with these unqualified people in positions of power what do you expect?
