I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
Phone interview. Then 2, 30 minute interviews. Not worth the drive downtown and not worth the time spent. Terrible communication between the recruiter and in person interviewees. Almost no knowledge share of any kind. Below average role for a young graduate, far below average for a seasoned veteran. Most of these folks are in or from Virginia and the nepotism seems to form visible dark clouds that fill their office space. Company losing BIG to LinkediN.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very bland, general boilerplate questions. Both interviewees seemed to know far less about the software solutions industry than I found acceptable based on their positions.
The interview process was normal for sales. They talk about your prior experience and then behavior based questions. It really depends on the hiring manager you are speaking wtih

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CareerBuilder

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (New York, NY)
Interview
Pretty difficult interview. Manager is very polished, extremely sharp and certainly on the fast track to corporate leadership. Manager made interview a friendly environment and asked fair but difficult questions that in my mind I felt prepared for but in reality I was way off base. They have discovered the process that makes their reps successful and simply want to know that you are able to identify that process and implement it into your sales process should you join the team. Overall it was a positive experience. Be ready for deep conversation.
