I was reached out by the company in early March’22 and had a horrible interview experience.
- #Rounds and timeline- In total I had six rounds of interviews spanning over a period of three months. The interviewees always kept on mentioning the priority of the role, however the unnecessarily elongated process did not back it up
- #False promises of compensation matching - Just after my first round, I had set my expectations and given the base minimum compensation. The team after a week of deliberation assured me that the compensation could be matched and we went on with the 3 month long hiring process. However, towards the end when the company extended me an offer they mentioned they cant match my base minimum.
- #inefficient scheduling process - There were times when there was complete silence from the recruitment team on the next steps and I had to take initiatives from my side about the next steps (should have taken this as an indicator of interest being shown!)
Overall I would not recommend anyone interviewing with a company which does not value a candidate’s time and efforts.
