Interview
Had two brief interviews. Second interview was to involve a second interviewer, but they were tied up in something else. I don’t know that I am certain they are looking for the most important things in a candidate, but they are definitely doing their due diligence in trying to find the candidate they think is right for the job.
I interviewed over a 2-month period. The 1st interview was a review of my experience and what the role entails with the hiring manager, the 2nd step was a Raven's IQ test, 3rd step was a behavioral interview with the same hiring manager, 4th step was a behavioral interview with a peer, the 5th step was to complete a 10 hour unpaid project, 6th step was presenting the project to a panel of 4 employees, and the 7th step was an executive interview.
Although this process was long and projects aren't typically required for this type of position, I didn't feel that it was difficult, just tedious. Everyone I met was professional, attentive, and engaging.
What really turned me off from this company for any future involvement was how I was strung along for 3 weeks after my last interview. The hiring manager emailed me that he was confident he could get this to the offer stage. A week later he emailed me that he was excited to have me join their team, and a week later emailed me that he hoped to have good news by the end of that week. Friday came and went with no word, and then I receive what appeared to be a templated rejection email from him the following Tuesday! I replied asking for some type of feedback of why they decided not to move forward but I received no response.
I found this to be extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional to do to a candidate, especially from a mental health company! It appears that there is a lot of truth to all of the negative employee reviews!

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and had four interviews. I completed a 10 hour Case Study which included doing research for them and getting various state applications for them. I presented the Case Study and also edited the Policy and Procedure manual they sent me. They asked for 3 references and a start date. And Then Completely Ghosted Me. Very unprofessional for a Mental Health Organization
