Called in for interview for a position that 3 people had already worked in and left. We discussed my prior position I had been in for 5 years before resigning over differences in needed training,
The interview process was a multistep process at the county office. First I had to earn my teacher certificate and then I had to go in and interview with human resources department.

Standard process overall. Cherokee is very tough to get into. I would advise bringing lesson plan work samples and pictures of your old classroom and past lessons to stand out. It helps to have it organized in a binder.

I met the principal at a Job fair and was invited to interview at the school. The principal and teachers in that grade level we’re there. Everyone was welcoming and interested in what I had to say.
