I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chuck E. Cheese (Garden Grove, CA) in Mar 2011
Interview
I was contacted by a local Chuck e cheese recruiter in Garden Grove CA for a game tech job had a 40 minute phone interview, Then was askes to go online and take 2 skills test. the lady called back 2 days later to say i passed the test with flying colors great job. The next step is to have a one on one interveiw with a local district manager, I was asked if I could drive 30 miles to the interveiw no problem. Met with the district manager at 9.00AM he said hi and told me he was very busy today and it would be quick about 20 minutes love my skills for the job, the next step the lady would call to say how it went. lady called 2 days later and asked me to have another interview with Tim. set it up for 2 or 3 days later. This one was past LAX airport no problem. Went to interview at 9.00am waited until 9.30 for him to show up. Interview went good with the manager and took about 45 minutes, he asked me how the other interview went and i said great but the manager seamed to be pressed for time. A couple of days went by i get a call from the chuck e lady ans was asked to go to see the first manager for another interview he had more time to do a better job interviewing me. When i was given the run around to get the job i could see the bad management that they had. I hope this helps any one who is looking to go to work for chuck e cheese.

Interview
Per the site guidelines, here is what happened on my interview. I took a skills test online. Then I had a great interview with a 20 year employee who told me it was a slam dunk. After getting "new-hire" paperwork in the mail, along with a drug test form, I had another interview with someone who asked me why I don't go back to my last job---very inappropriate. That's not how an interview was supposed to be like. So, after I received the new-hire paperwork from TX, I had to hunt down HR who tells me that sending that out before making an offer is common. All this after driving 150 miles to get to multiple interviews. This site is supposed to let all the truths come out. SO let it come out for any prospective employee to see.
