I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coinbase (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2021
Interview
A couple of 30-minute phone interviews, followed by a virtual "on-site" interview consisting of three or four 30-minute video interviews. There are specific topics that each interviewer covers. These topics are major parts of the recruiting process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Coinbase (Austin, TX) in Aug 2021
Interview
I was an employee referral. I was set up with an initial call with a recruiter and then scheduled for the virtual onsite with 4 separate interviews. Overall the interviews themselves were pretty standard among recruiter interviews.
However the overall candidate experience was very poor. I ended up declining the offer to go somewhere else that treats their candidates with respect.
