I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ComPsych (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The initial interview was over the telephone, and the recruiter called 13 minutes late. I was told I would hear about the next step within a few days. I was called for a face-to-face three weeks later. The interview consisted of an IQ test, a meeting with the recruiter and a manager. They talked about the position, asked me if I understood the position, but asked no situational or behavioral questions. When asked to describe my understanding of the position, I was told that I "hit the nail on the head." Without asking any situational or behavioral questions, or a skills test, I'm not sure how they decided that I wouldn't be the best candidate. And with administering just an IQ test, and no personality component to balance out the potential adverse impact, I'm not sure how they can defend my interview as being fair. This was more of an informational meeting than an interview.
