The way the interview was organised was extremely poor. The HR guy rang me, asked me if I was available to go in for an interview the next week, didn’t even tell me who he was or what company until I asked. And when I first asked ‘who is this?’ he told me his first name? Not his job title or anything. It was like I was supposed to know who he was. Then I asked for an email confirmation, which he said he will send - he never did. I tried to ring that number a few days after but got no answer so I assumed that maybe I was already booked and that it’ll be fine to just turn up. So I turn up but I was double booked for an interview with someone else. Then after he interviewed the person before me, he came to me and mumbled something about a ‘confirmation’ or whatever. BRO YOU DIDNT EVEN SEND ME A DAMN EMAIL WHEN I KEPT ASKING FOR ONE IN OUR INITIAL PHONE CALL. So poorly organised. And I got a rejection email which was a generalised response for all rejected applicants, nothing that indicated anything about me doing an interview. I thought before that maybe they got my email address wrong which is why they couldn’t send a confirmation but no, they were still able to send me that generic rejection email. It was a nice office but the whole phone call thing seemed dodgy too, like some human trafficking ring.
Basically, I applied for this job, two months later I get a random call from a guy who didn’t even tell me his straight up his name, company, or job title, (he was legit tho I investigated through LinkedIn), didn’t even email me a confirmation, double booked me (or maybe didn’t even book me at all) with someone else, sent me a generic rejection email that just seems to be sent to everyone who didn’t make it past the interview stage. WASTE OF TIME, DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM OR GIVE THEM YOUR ENERGY.
