I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DataArt (Lviv) in Aug 2017
Interview
There were 4 stages to the interview process:
1. English testing(spoken language, via Skype).
2. Interview with a technical expert.
3. PM interview.
4. PM + Delivery Manager interview.
1. English interview - your success will very much depend on which teacher you're going to speak with. For instance, on my first try, I was assigned a teacher that kept swapping between English and Russian constantly, which got me very confused, as I wasn't sure what language I was expected to speak. Thankfully, due to technical difficulties, we had to re-shedule the interview. On my second try, I spoke to a pleasant old lady. We had a casual conversation for about 20 minutes, I received a fair bit of feedback and that was the end of stage 1.
2. Technical interview - via Skype, with a technical expert, in Russian. It took about an hour: we spoke about my overall experience and my role in recent projects. He occasionally asked specific questions about the technologies and decisions I mentioned. Overall I found it a little too easy for my liking, but not unreasonably so.
3. PM interview - also via Skype, with 2 Senior PMs, in English. The interview consisted almost exclusively of questions that tested my decision-making and thought process in difficult situations. I feel like none of those questions had a right answer.
4. PM + Delivery Manager interview - in person. The interview was focused on deciding whether I fit into the company: we spoke about my career-related decisions in the past, how I see myself in the future, and whether DataArt is a place for me. I was also given feedback on my soft skills, which was a nice surprise, as companies usually keep this information to themselves. At the end of the interview, they told me they would ask my past employer for feedback and let me know their decision in a few days(which they did).
Overall, the interview process was heavy and thorough, much more so than in any other Lviv-based that I've been to.

Question 1
Suppose you are an achitect of a large enterprise solution. You recently delegated front-end architecture design of the next large module to two of your fellow tech. leads on a competition basis(best design wins). They presented you with 2 draft solutions written in AngularJS and React respectively. Technically, both solutions are equivalent. Implementation costs will be relatively similar. Which one do you pick? And why?
