I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Austin, TX) in Jun 2009
Interview
The HR coordinated my interview time and place and gave me sufficient notice about it. I did not know the name of my interviewing manager about 2 hours before the interview. Face to face interview with 1-hiring manager, who was very pleasant, to the point and seemed to be very practical about what he wanted to know and showed no extra courtesy. He talked little about the company, but gave a nice introduction of what he did and what he was looking for.
Post interview follow-up from the HR and my hiring manager was very prompt too.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
They asked generic Questions about why Dell, why the particular job and questions about how I thought my profile fit the job required
They also asked some questions around - "tell me about how I faced a disagreement with any senior manager in my previous role and how I dealt with it".
They also asked a couple of questions around my knowledge of the Dell product line-up for consumers and small businesses and asked about creative ideas around solutions based offerings to small and medium business type customers based on the product port-folio of the company
I applied directly through website. My manager asked me about my educational qualification and previous work experience and projects I did. Its an entry level position so just basic knowledge about marketing and excel was examined during the interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Round Rock, TX) in Nov 2023

It was a 30 minutes interview, containing very straightforward behavioral questions. It is important for interviewees to demonstrate analytical skills through storytelling, so it is crucial to talk about experiences using the STAR method.
