      Line Service/Parts Administrative Interview

      23 May 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Thermal, CA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Desert Jet (Thermal, CA) in Mar 2017

      Interview

Honestly, stay away from this place! I made the same mistake you're about to make. Such unprofessionalism from this company, its astounding and extremely frustrating. First call was a review of resume and said would email me with interview date by end of week, he forgot (Beginning of March). My call apparently reminded him to schedule it a week later, then had issues setting one up at all for another week. After that nonsense, i get first interview (around mid-late March), and again after that I get called in for 2nd interview. Get offered the job if pass drug test, passed and nobody ever called to notify. I eventually called after a week, they stated I would start 1st or 2nd week of May - Brad. (Late April) They passed my resume off to a different position in another department apparently, meanwhile they never answered or returned my messages or calls after that - Brad & Jennifer. Over 2 weeks. Just get an email from someone else stating an entirely different situation than what I had been told.(May 4th) So I get a 3rd interview, that goes well, and told I'd be given a call by end of week Friday. Nothing, so next friday rolls around and he texts to reschedule for next week! DOES NOT CALL! - David. Once again I had to call today to get myself informed, and I already knew it, but I really wanted the position. Guess what? They are no longer filling ANY of the positions, apparently (at least in the way I was told) their CEO doesnt care people have been told they would be hired within a couple weeks. His exacts words were "well... after a meeting it isnt in the budget, I dont know I've only been here a few months", he kind of stammered through a lot of what he had to say, but you could even tell he had doubt in his tone. Thats my personal speculation. After screwing me around for 8 weeks or more with the worst possible treatment I've ever recieved from any company, I think you can understand. Either nobody can face up and deny someone a job, while at the same time offering them one - or nobody has a clue as to whats going on. Im going with the latter. Damn, I pushed all my negative thoughts i had of this company aside.
