Hello I just wanted to tell you whomever you are reading this that today I had an interview at 1:30pm for a warehouse position part time in Anaheim ca, with I believe a female named Veronica I came in dressed groomed properly had my resume handy had a great attitude, smile and answered anything she asked of me I noticed the thing that caught her eye was my colorful tattoo on my left hand and asked if I had more tattoos I said yes on my arms but I have no problem covering it up she was or seemed nice she had me step away from her office to check about if employed covering my tattoos then had me come in to basically tell me I won’t be offered a position because of my tattoo which is not offensive in any way I have a colorful rose on my hand that can easily be covered up with gloves, makeup, clothes etc. I feel descrimated against because of my tattoo which sounds so stupid but indeed it’s how I feel I was looking forward to being a part of the Disney family I am a very hard working honest reliable individual I wasn’t even going to work with customers I was applying for warehouse which means no customer interaction plus I can easily and Willingly able to cover up no problem I have lots of experience in all areas I feel she didn’t even see passed that other than my tattoo which is hurtfull I just wanted to share this with you and hopefully Disney sees passed people having tattoos and more into there personality and ability’s and experience into a workplace thank you.
