      Interview

There are generally 2 interviewers who taketurn asking questions and are generally very easy to talk to. They tend to make people very comfortable. You are allowedto comeback to a question if you cannot think of a suitableanswer immediately. the questions are generally competency based. So you will have to draw examples from previous work experience.

      Senior Analyst Interview

      28 Apr 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Croydon, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EDF (Croydon, England) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Interviewed for Volume Forecasting Senior Analyst. There were 4 stages: 1. CV screening 2. Industry-specific test -- using some data HR gave me, I needed to create a forecasting model using R or Python, document my thinking process and results, and report it back in the next stage if I were successful. 3. Interview with a hiring manager and a senior member of the team. 4. Interview with a head of the department. Overall the process was a bit lengthy and communication with HR was intermittent, e.g. they were not proactive in terms of getting back to me and giving updates, so I had to call them myself several times. The interviews were typical, and the forecasting exercise was doable too. The job was to be based in Croydon and that's where they wanted to have interviews #3 and #4. I lived in the North at that time (2 years before pandemic and remote working), and they were comfortable with Skype interviews, which I liked.
