I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ElleVet Sciences (South Portland, ME) in Aug 2022
Interview
I applied online and then had a phone call with HR who scheduled me to meet with the supervisor of the plant in person and they gave me a tour and asked some questoins
I had 4 interviews total, one remote and the rest in-person at their office in South Portland in the conference rooms. They were very casual and friendly. The questions were pretty standard and normal.

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ElleVet Sciences
Interview
Spoke to HR, the co-founders and the Director of Sales in separate interviews. All really pleasant and kind people who seem passionate about the company, helping companion animals and finding the right fit for this role.
I was surprised during the interviews because from the job posting and title, it sounded like they wanted someone to oversee the inside sales accounts and perhaps inside sales reps, but during the interviews it was apparent that the company saw the role as more of an entry level position which supported the outside sales person and was a foot in the door, which I was potentially open to, but wasn’t entirely prepared for.
The process was long. I spoke to 4 people over the span of several months which made it feel as though every interview was starting from scratch. Ultimately, I didn’t get notified with a yes/no after the final interview even after sending HR a follow up email asking for an update or idea on timeline, so took the lack of response as an obvious no. That was a surprise since they had been good communicators up until that point, so it was a bit of a sour and unprofessional ending to an overall good interview process.
