I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Engine (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2023
Interview
I was ghosted by HR after the initial screening process which is funny because I was heavily courted through LinkedIN and had reservations but decided to go for it anyhow. It was a really unprofessional experience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Engine (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Initial phone screener by HR, then a meeting with the hiring manager. Oddly, I received a rejection email after the recruiter scheduled the meeting (before I met with her). I had to follow up a few times to confirm.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Engine (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2023
Interview
Such a lengthy, awful experience. Maybe the worst interviewing experience I've faced in my career. It was 2 months long...they decided to "uplevel" the role, so they DQ'd me. Then they followed up w/ me saying they were interested in me..then i had two more interviews( after already having 3 rounds). I then finally had a presentation w/ minimal direction. Then they DQ'd me again. Just a terrible experience. No wonder why the director left. Processes are probably terrible internally.
