One of the most unusual interview process First round was phone screen by hiring manager followed by a technical excel test with hiring manager over teams. Last round, present to hiring manager about a bad team experience. Throughout 3 stages, never had the chance to 'sell' myself as you would expect for a normal interview. Only question asked by interviewer is where i want to work in this field, followed by interview talking about what candidate he is looking for. No time for even asking question about job scope.
- what are your goals in 5 years?

They're so desperate you if you're breathing, you're in. One interview, physical for drivers, and possibly a drug test. They request a clean driving record for couriers, but then require Nascar antics to get the job done in the time they want.
- It's the normal questions of any interview that everyone except good employees lie about.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Fedex Express in May 2023
All it was was you go in, say you have an interview, they take you to the break area (or i guess straight to interview) and the hiring manager will call you to interview you. Really easy, but obviously think about your answers. 6 questions. Can you lift 50+ pounds? 75 with help? Are you able to work in the heat or cold? Can you work the hours stated in the job posting? Tell me a time where you had to adapt to a situation in your work? What happened? Tell me about a time where you had to plan out events in your work. What is the most stressful moment that has happend to you at work or outside of work? What did you do to resolve it? My interviewer litterally read those off of a piece paper

I applied online. I interviewed at Fedex Express (Oakland, CA) in Apr 2023
I submitted my application on a Friday and was offered the position Monday morning. There's not a formal interview. You just have to attend one of their hiring events and have 2 forms of id. Once there, they brief you on what you'd be doing depending on your shift. They fingerprint you, send you a free background check, and give you 48 hours to take a drug test. If you pass all 3, they call you back in to finish hiring paperwork and schedule you for your mandatory orientation days.
