Fort Wayne interview questions

Why City of Fort Wayne? Your strength and how you resolved conflict with a co-worker, etc.

1.) You’re a new firefighter and a senior firefighter asks you how has your education and experience has prepared you for a career with the Fort Wayne Fire Department. 2.) You are in your way back to the station driving the apparatus and you accidentally bump into another car. There is no damage and nobody seen it happen. What would you do in this situation and why? 3.) You are responding to an anpartment fire and are given a specific task to complete from someone higher up in the chain of command. A lady runs up to you and grabs your arm saying that someone might still be in the apartment and that you need to go rescue them. What would you do in this situation and why? 4.) You are responding to an emergency attempting to save a single mother and her child. They get separated in the fire, you are able to save the mother but the child dies from smoke inhalation. The mother wants to know where her child is, what do you do in this situation and why? 5.) Why is integrity such an important trait to have has a firefighter? Give examples.
