Interview
I submitted a resume and cover letter on the website, but I also knew a friend who worked there and spoke to the supervisor of the position directly. The supervisor called and gave me a phone interview, then scheduled for me to come in the following week. I met him, his boss, the rest of the team, and HR. The interview took about four hours total.

I was advised that the boss's boss might ask who wrote my college chemistry book, but I was not asked that question.
I was asked basic formulas of hydrocarbons, which anyone who had taken general chemistry should know the answer to.
